    Hello all,

It's been mentioned elsewhere by Steve, but I'll post it again for posterity:
    Steve wrote:
With regard to the current issue in the IAA which led to the resignation of the chairman:

    1. No speculation, naming names, or otherwise singling out identifiable individuals or groups or their responsibility in the matter will be permitted here.

    2. Even if an official response is posted by the IAA, naming / discussing individuals will not be tolerated.
I would ask that any and all discussion relating to these issues be kept off Boards.ie as this isn't the place for such discussion and posts or threads on this topic will be removed. When everything is sorted and official statements have been made, then it'll be fair to open the topic back up for discussion (remembering of course that it will be subject to the normal Boards.ie Guidelines). Simply put folks, we've always enjoyed a good working relationship with the IAA and they with us and we would very much like to keep things that way.

I'm making this post because I've had contact from the IAA Chairman saying the AGM scheculed for tomorrow's been cancelled [details].

    [EDIT]
I've also been told there's an IAA members meeting happening tomorrow [details]. It has not been called by the committee, but I gather that since people had planned on meeting anway, they're going ahead with it.

The current situation seems to be very messy and will take some time to clear up, so I think it best we let that happen without the added potential for mis-information etc that discussion without all the facts can cause. It's not an enviable position for anyone involved, but I'm sure it can and will be fixed.

    Thanks for your time folks.
