I have an iphone 4 and it works fine at home but since i came back to work it wont connect to the office wi -fi
I have the same eircom router as at home and am about 5m from it

I put in all the details and in the settings it shows up as eircom 201***** and then flickers to not connected and back to eircom 201***** and so on
Is there simple solution to this,I tried turning on and off the router, nothing happened

I've also searched on line and the only other solution says to go to settings>general>Reset....I havent done this as I'm a little unsure

    any help .......

Is there a firewall or anything in work that is stopping you from connecting? Some wireless networks have Mac address filtering which means that even if you have the password and you're not on the filter list, then you still won't be able to connect.

Best bet would be to contact IT/whoever looks after your internet service etc.

Should be simple enough for them to add your mac address to the firewall.

Best way to check would be to try connect a laptop or other device to the work router and if that doesn't work then it would definitely be router.
