Ok, so not being experienced in these things, how do I open up the m4 body , I've popped out the pin beside the selector switch and it kinda starts to separate but something else is holding it together. Want to have a look inside to see what can be upgraded and I think I have a slightly loose connector.

Sorry for the noob question, but that's me.

Be careful when seperating it - the TM's have plastic tabs at the back of the receiver which can easily break and feck ya up.

As Irishmaster said - there's no end of vids online.

Here's a great site for takedown guides etc.
You can download the vids also.

This is the one you need:

If you get stuck - please feel free to give me a shout - happy to help out if you need it (just in Newbridge).
    Best of luck;)

    STOP What You are Doing!

Before you go any further, do yourself a big favor and YouTube videos on disassembly/assembly of your specific model of AEG. What is your AEG?

You need to know what to expect at all stages of the disassembly/assembly process. You don't want to be surprised when some spring or part falls or flys out as you are tinkering.

The other thing are your tools. Be extra careful here. Some AEGs have unbelievably soft metal for the screw heads. In some cases a single slip of the screw driver is enough to damage a screw head to a point where you may not be able to remove screw from its position. Be sure to use drivers with absolutely perfect fit. If you can wiggle the driver while it's in place, you are using the wrong size driver.

You can do this, and it’s worth knowing how to open and manage the internals of your AEG. Go for it!
