Just to confirm , are you def putting in the right wifi password?
And which XP Service pack do you have installed i.e SP1, SP2, SP3?(you can find out by right click on my computer and then selecting properties)

THATS ,FIXED, i have 2 windows os, s installed , i just load xp media centre edition ,the original os ,and it loads up wifi ,connection to the upc router. The speed is 18meg per second, the same as the dell laptop.i have no idea why i was just getting less than 1meg per sec yesterday.the password is setup,it connects automatically to the upc router.
