Can you copy from a PC to an external drive that's plugged into a PS3?

Hi I've seen that I can use TVersity to stream video thats on a PC and play it on my PS3. Is it possible to copy files from my PC to an external drive thats connected to my PS3? Thanks m

copying from the computer over the networks or PC to hard drive to be played on the PS3.

The hard drive must be fat32 and the PS3 has a more limited number of files it can play compare to TVersity.
