@clubcard: that's from the US, so you'd need to include shipping, duty and VAT.

Lovely looking frameset, 59cm is too big for me or I'd buy it.

When new, these were £2100 from up north.

Thank you LUMEN. Perhaps @clubcard is unaware that posting like he did is frowned upon and I think even against boards policy. More importantly, the site with the price he shows is a fraudulent site with phony prices. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt @clubcard and also assume you are not affiliated with the fraudulent site.

That's interesting - is it frowned upon or against Boards policy to point out that a sellers price is more expensive than available elsewhere? I'm not referring to this particular thread but as a general policy?

As I have always understood it on Adverts.ie and Boards.ie this is the case (against policy to reference supposed better prioces elsewhere). I'll leave it to others to answer with more authority. Hopefully doesn't hijack my thread but in any case probably the damage has been done with the false claim of it being less expensive elsewhere. Cheers all.

This subforum has different rules to adverts.ie

Here, discussion of value for money is perfectly acceptable.

    I am not a mod.

Thanks @Lumen. Good to know. I think I will take down my posts from here and list on adverts as it really bothers me when people diminish the impact of a post by using a scammy site to undermine a product's value, whether intentional or not. Best of luck to everyone and happy new year!

I have withdrawn this item for sale here. I will most likely put it up on adverts.

Given that you're obviously selling this item on a commercial basis which is definately against the forum rules I would suggest you should alight from your high horse!!
