iPhone 3GS on 3 Ireland

    hi are there any knowen issues with the 3GS on 3 data etc? I know there is a thread here for the iPhone 4 but just checking before I jump ship to 3? Thanks

    I went to the customer service in blanch and he said it would okay. Whatever network your using check if 3G works if it does you should be okay.

    i've had my 3gs on 3 for about 3 mnoths now. no problems with 3g. other that sh1t coverage at home but elsewhere is fine...

    (you may have to call up tech support to turn off there stupid bluecoat censorship thingy)

    I just moved to 3 today. I have good coverage so far. When inwas searching for networks I got 2 3neteorks profile 3 and 3(3G) which should I choose.

    I can get use on my iPhone. GPRS symbol appears and it's not even working.

    I can get use on my iPhone. GPRS symbol appears and it's not even working.

    GPRS is unbelievably slow. The fact its actually showing the GPRS signal (The blue circle) would suggest its working, but not in a 3G area? If you think you are actually in a 3G area, try setting it to 3(G), and see if the 3G symbol comes up.

    Right now any find the 3G network. I Spoke to a technician and he said were I live in Dublin 15 is near a mast so it should be okay.
