Half of my front number plate fell off. Where can I get it replaced quickly? How much would it cost?

Most main dealers who have a service centre can make one up for you, ring around. In most cases they will want to see the vehicle registration cert. to make sure you're not a bank robber. If you can fax it in they can have the plate made by the time you get to them.

I think I paid about 30-40 for a pair of plates from Foster in Sandyford.

Most motor factors will make them up while you wait. 10 to 15 euro each.

Any motor factor I went to to get plates made up didn't require the cert.

Hit up a Motor Factors. My local one in Limerick will do a plate for €7.
