    Hi all,
I have an iPhone 3G that is in several pieces (but all pieces are there). Where would be the best place to get this repaired in Dublin, and do you think it is worthwhile?

    Thanks

No harm in bringing it to the shops around Parnell street, they normally are able to fix these and you can also try haggle them down on price as well.

Ordinarily I wouldn't touch the shops on Parnell St/Moore St, I work in a phone store and we get bad reports from customers who have had their phones damaged by these nutheads, sometimes irreperably. But seeing as you've managed to split the thing into several pieces maybe have a go.

Fonemenders might also have crack for you, I know they do general repairs, screens and the like, for €80-€150. Jigsaw puzzles may be beyond them though. :P

Well put it this way, it was taken apart 100% and not really put back together :pac:

I might try those shops, and see what they say!

    Thanks

Fonemenders get my vote. There is a shop on Abbey St which will remain nameless that wanted to charge me €380 to repair an iPhone 3GS screen and back. Avoid them like the plague.

Every body is entitled to an opinion. If keeping all the prices on the site is dodgy than i'm ok with that.
