    Hi guys,

I realise theres some posts similar to this already on here but I cant find anything to help me.

Heres what I want to achieve and I believe it is possible.

I have a Netopia 2247NWG from eircom for my broadband. This is downstairs in my house.

I have a WRT54GL, just flashed with DD-WRT and I want to put this in my bedroom to connect to a dreambox. I want the Linksys then to be bridged wirelessly with the eircom router so the dreambox can access the net.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks

Set the wireless mode to bridged. It'll need the SSID and security settings as appropriate of course.

Yes, there's no need to alter the Netgear.

Edit: I should be explicit here and say set it to client bridge mode, rather than repeater or WDS.

The DD-WRT UI can be a bit funny at times. Once you've set the settings, hit save and then apply as well.
