I've tried out a cool new app for the iPhone called the ihunt sounds and calls. There is a trial version you can try for free and the full one only cost three euro and has 470 different calls on it.
It can be plugged into an external speaker to increase the volume and can be set for variable repetition of sounds and delay as well. For three quid you can't go wrong.
It even has calls to attract bear, crocs and alligators just in case you get bored of deer and fox. :)
Any one who's tried it or wants to then let me know. :)

What's a NOKIA? Is that one of those phones you have to put the old fifty pence coins into? :P:D

I don't think so tack, put 3g iPods, iPhones and iPads shouldn't be a prob.

I've to find one yet for Foxes, but the above app is for Duck calls and I see one for Geese

With the Caveat check local laws on use of them.

Ha, if you ever post a pic of your rifle with a gucci set up i'll get my revenge :-D long grass Garv, and i'm waiting in it :-D

Seriously though, its a pretty cool app. And if Steve Jobs has no problem with it then surely no Anti has a leg to stand on.

Heres the link anyway if anyone wants a look see :-)

    ??

    I don't get ya.

I was thinking back, I have a friend who recorded chickens in a chicken coup.

He recorded it on a Dictaphone, he maintains foxes came in droves when it was turned on

Thats one i must try. I can see peoples reaction now. Its bad enough i spend half my car journeys sucking on the back of my hand squeaking like a mad man but now i'll be clucking like a chicken as well.

I see a future with a long slieved jacket and a padded room for me....

Dont forget to use an external speaker, volume isn't that loud and with the speaker you can vary it easier depending on the distance. The mating call for the red fox works as well. Any joy with the crocodile one? :-D
