I hope this is the right forum.

I’m looking into using Skype(I assume it’s the best option) to let my Ma ring the relatives outside Ireland for free/next to nothing. There’s only two pcs in the house, no laptops, so I’m looking at a wireless/skype phone. Also ive heard my teacher talk about voice over ip, but I assume that’s not a standard option.

I have heard some vague information on skype and seen it in action for a minute and also seen the phones in agos etc. But im looking to be pointed in the right direction, or even if what im looking to do, can be done.

    Thanks in advance.

google operator one! I use this site its brilliant. You top up using credit and it lasts ages. Once setup no computer ... no headset just use your home phone / mobile ..... you can ring australia mobile for 2c a minute the charge for a local call. (sometimes included in your phone package!) :D
