    Hi all,

I bought myself and the girlfriend 2 wildfires from meteor in Dun Laoghiare in September 12th. Around Oct all her apps started force closing all the time, so we uninstalled them and re-installed them but kept getting the same problem. we brought it back and they guy updated the software.
The problem still kept happening and then in November the phone started ringing people from her phone book while she had it locked, texts would not send or receive and then in one go tehy would all deliver and she would receive her messages.

On the 4th Dec Meteor took the phone back and said they would send it off to be fixed and would be back in 7 days. 20th Dec no sign so i went down to be told it had to be sent back to HTC in Holland and would be back by 23rd.

No sign of it over the xmas or a call to let me know whats going on. Rang them 4th Jan and was told still no sign, rang customer services and spent 2 hours on the phone to them and they couldnt tell me what was going on. rang the shop yesterday was told it'd be 2 weeks before it comes back.

I think its crazy that they can leave us without a phone for this long and never experienced such TERRIBLE customer service from both the store and their 1905 number.

Anyone came across this before or is there anything i can do?

I experienced a similar situation with a phone i purchased last june (Nokia N97 Mini) . Poewr kept cutting out / phone freezing etc. After sending the phone away THREE times. I eventually got it replaced. In the meantime i was offered no replacement etc.. When speaking to customer service, like you i was appalled by there attitude. Basically saying it was the manufacters problem and not there problem.

In total i was without my phone for a period of 3 months. Even after numerous phone calls They offered nothing for my inconveinence. When i tried to remove my data bundle they blattently refused to do this stating i had signed up to the contract and the fone was only a 'bonus' (paid €149 for it)

Meteor are known for there crap service so i wouldnt be expecting the phone back anytime soon.

    I feel your pain
