I drive an Opel Astra 04 and whenever I go above 70-80km/hr a warning light on the dash illuminates. Its a picture of a car with a tool (spanner or wrench) through it. Can't find the manual for the car at the moment. My mechanic is off work until next Wednesday. Would it be safe for me to drive the car until then? I have…

I have had recent trouble with the cars alternator and it was only replaced 2 weeks ago. Would this problem be related to that??
