iP4 Dropping Coverage (even when in case)

    Hi,

Have a 4 month old iP4 32g. Updated to iOS 4.2.1 a few days ago. It started dropping from 1 bar of signal to "searching..." in 6-7 minute cycles last night. I was onto Vodafone and it's not a network problem as I was sitting beside someone with the exact phone/network/iOS version. It's always kept in a Speck Pixelskin HD case and has the same problem out of the case so I've ruled out grip of death.

Tried a hard reset and currently synching now.

Anyone else had this problem or is it off to apple for a refurb?

    D

I'm surprised noone has (looks like it) created a thread on this in the talk to vodafone forum. Their representatives post on there answering queries.

You are all holding the phone wrong!!!

On a serious note, my guess is that it's a vocative issue. Anyone have a sim free iPhone that can try a different network.

Seeing as most of you, if not all are on the vocative network, it would seem odd if it was hardware at your end.

Can anyone here post there carrier file!! Should be in settings, Genreal, about
