    Has anyone done this or think it worth doing?I mean if your are on your holidays in a country with good quality and affordable material would it make sense to post it to yourself back home?

    depends on how much it costs to post...you'd want to be buying a lot of fabric to make a good saving but it'd probably weigh a ton!
    could end up costing you more on postage!

    also, if there is any problem with the material, you would have a long way to go to complain
