    Hi All!

I was in TK Maxx in Limerick earlier in the week and they have great looking Skiing Goggle that would be perfect for Airsoft. They are Bolle style, but I cant recall the exact brand.

They seemed to have great ventilation, and the lens was very sturdy.

They were on sale for €20.

    Were they ANSI rated?

Sking goggles are not balistic rated. Please for your own sake, don't use them :)

I have seen guys using Woodies DIY goggles on site...and Im not encouraging so I thought Skii Goggles would suffice.:o

I didn't buy a pair as my Mesh Goggles are great!

But yeah if these Skii Goggles aren't safe...then don't mind me, and invest in proper goggles!!!

Some work goggles are rated Z81+ or higher (I've a great pair of Uvex ones that far exceed requirements), but most are simply protection against dust or wood chips. Nothing with the impact energy of an airsoft round.
Similarly, most ski goggles are protection against snow and wind, not direct heavy impact. Some of the better brands, like Spy, Oakley and Burton would be Z81+ (my own Spy ones are, for example), but they'll set you back at least €100. At least.
