    Hello,
I have recently installed underfloor heating with easyscreed in my house.
I am now ready to fit the timber flooring (walnut engineered boards).

Has anyone got any recommendations on how to fit this?
My local builders providers is recommending to use adhesive similar to tile adhesive..
My carpenter is not too keen on this, in case any of the boards have to be taken up for some reason at a later stage.
Would it be possible to use some specific underlay and glue the joints of the floor?

    Regards,
    Eddie

be extremely careful that the adehsive selected (spelt wrong) do not react with the gypsum in an easi-screed.

I got my floors (engineered oak) fitted over UFH last year. It was stuck down with Sikabond. It was recommended by both the fitter and the builder as the best? I understand that with UFH and wooden floors you want to have as little air between them as possible so the heat is transfered. I think with the floating fit you would get that gap which may cut down on the transfer!

I think any foam layer would act as insulation? Try phone sika and ask about lifting the boards later, I got great advice from them over the phone on an other product. Also does the floor supplier recommend any product?
