    hi guys,

i'm in the market for a new car after my wife totalled our perfectly fine but slightly old one. i've been looking on autotrader and carzone, and have found a variety of suitable candidates.
    volvo s40,s60 or s80
    mazda 6
    toyota avensis
    vw passat
    ford cmax
    subaru legacy

first off, anything i should know when buying a second one of these? any of these i shouldn't even bother looking at? unfortunately, for our price range we'll be looking at 2007 cars with around 60-80 000 miles.
One dealer in particular seems to have a good selection of all of these, www.rightpricecars.ie/. Anyone ever deal with these guys? they're not SIMI registered, so should that stop me from dealing with them? should i only look to trade with simi registered dealers for my own protection?

any advice would be helpful as i don't know much about what to look out for really.

    cheers
