VF845 launcherpro problem

    I am using this rom on a Vodafone v845, it comes with a demo of laucherpro. Today laucherpro expired and now I have no access to anything on the phone.

    I understand I need to install another launcher, how do I go about doing this with my phone in this state?

    I'm not familiar with that rom but what version are you on? If you are on an early build, you could download a newer version of the rom which will have a more up to date launcher pro. According to that thread, the two newest builds of 2.0 and 1.9.5 require a wipe but if you wipe, you will lose everything so maybe you can install 1.9.1, if you aren't already on that.
    Easiest way to do it would be to download 1.9.1 from here, copy it to your sd card,boot to recovery do a nandroid backup of your existing rom and then flash the 1.9.1 rom without wiping. Then, once it is working, it might be an idea to download a different launcher which won't expire!

    I got it sorted in the end by installing another launcher from the sdcard through the web browser. thanks.
