    "In an Awakened Sleep"
From what I said, you awoke,
Sleeping in an uncharted concept of my bed.
The night relishes in the dawn of darkness,
the moon awakes my fears of light.

"Is it paint or is it plaster?"
scream the artists in my dreams.
    Awake? Asleep?

    My mother buttons my shirt,
fills my butter scented lunchbox, and it's time
    for school.
    They don't like me.
    I don't like them.

Get a job. Get a wife.
Keep your job. Keep your wife.
Make a kid. Keep your kid.
Sick, I am, in a ponder of self-worth.

Am I awake? Is this sleep?
When shall I stop asking, and start being?
That's it. Feedback encouraged. Many thanks.
