    how we lads.
we've been out the last few night and aren't having much look with the caller, but its only a mouth caller. foxes seem more tempted run when they hear it than come to it. its not a great call off it. he had one before that was the business but when he had the .243 first he lost it when he shot the first fox with the gun around xmas last year. xmas curse or what? he had it with years and it worked so good but the sound cant be done as good with any other caller he tried.

we noticed tonight foxes were a lot more curious to hand to mouth squeak.

so he's decided to go electric and try a few of them. do any of ye have any good recommendations for what one to go for thats not over the top pricey.

and/or and good mouth callers too.

some links would be welcomed with prices, or if ye know cheap places to get them.
all info is welcome, thanks in advance

if he's looking for a decent caller for under €100 the the crass creek foxcaller is a good job. if he's willing to spend €130 then the u caller remote is a great job. i'm using it and i find it very good

i tried downloading a racoon pups call because i heard even disinterested foxes will stop to check it out, but it wouldn't play loud enough for them to hear at a distance. so i just stick to the old faithful rabbit distress, and the vixen call these days. generally if they come within 250 yards of me they'll never hear any call again:D

is that a small wooden one?
i have one of those, with a bit of practice you can make it sound just like a hare.
even saying that though i've only ever called cubs in late summer evenings with it. the older smarter foxes will run a mile from it

The not-remote Ucaller is featured in an artical in this months Sporting Rifle Febuary edition.
The magazine came today but may not be in the shops till next week.

The remote Ucaller can be got for €104 free post with 50 extra free calls.
And if you have a/any VAT number you can deduct the £14/€16.50 off the total at the checkout.
So it works out at about €88 all in

thanks lads. ive been looking online and found it hard to find any callers on it. only sites showing different calls. is the u-caller worth the money?

i made one out of a dogs toy and it sounded good but i lost it i must try giving it to him some night and see what he can do with it.
