hairdresser needed for bridal party in ROME!

    Hi girls,

I need some help! My friend is getting married in Rome in April and she doesn’t know where to look to get a hairdresser for her big day!

She is getting married abroad for financial reasons and she priced one hairdresser and she was charging a whopping €250 per head! Obviously this is a ridiculous price and is not worth even considering!

As a close friend of the bride, I said I’d organise this much for her with the help of boards former brides!

I am looking for anybody who has gotten married in Rome and had their bridal party’s hair done. Could you please forward me on the name and number of a reputable hairdresser if you still have the details! Or even if you could pass on a website it would be a great help and stress off my mind!

I am looking forward to your replies!

Do the hotel have any recommendations?

Unfortunately some relatives were meant to get married there last year and they too had such a nightmare sorting out the finer details like hair and makeup...flowers etc.

It was a pity as they had the venue, church and hotels booked...but this little stuff became so expensive. They gave up in the end and had to cancel everything and got married in Ireland instead.

Just to let you know, it is quite difficult. Good luck.

A friend of mine got married there last year and the priest had lists of everything from flowers to hairdressers for them to choose from.(presume its a church wedding since its in rome, she should ask whoever she's dealing with over there do they have any recommendations) The girl she eventually got was an American, but unfortunately i have no idea how much she charged.

I am going to an Irish wedding in Rome in 2 weeks.
I know the bride has booked someone for hair and makeup for herself for €150. Maybe this is still too expensive? I know she said they realy do rip you off out there for this sort of thing, but hopefully you get someone.
If you want contact details for this lady PM me and Ill get them for you.

Ridiculous. Wonder if that is how much the locals pay.

Wohoooooooooooo we are getting married in Rome after 6 months! My fiance is italian and second him normal price for bridal hair and make up is up to 400€ for locals. Crazy! If you have found somebody with 250€ that's really good price especially if she comes to your hotel. We have also small budget wedding and we have our wedding venue in Hotel Quirinale
and I booked hair & make up with Janita Helova
