Would like your thoughts on this jeep, not a lot of info there, is it a bit steep for a Pajero of that age without any test or is it what I should expect? And what about the back end, looks like a soft top to me, any problems there?

Possibly. Might have a look tomorrow, if it ain't sold. Been nearly a week, I've seen 'em sell in hours. Cheers.

Lookin at the date on the pic it was taken a year ago though

you are aware that it is a j-top pajero, therefore is extremely rare.

Sorry for being so blunt, maybe I should have elaborated!

Its really badly spec'd, no colour coded bumpers, no exterior trim, crap steel wheels and the back of it looks like somebody stuck some kind of vent onto the rear window panel and covered (quite badly I might add) the rear upper quarter of the jeep in black vinyl.

I wouldn't go near it personally!

Something like this would be much better imho, mileage ain't bad, belts are done and tyres are ok for a start not to mention it looks 10 times better than that other yoke!

leave that red one alone, odd spec and a gammy colour for one too, there's plenty to be found for that money

Don't think its a j-top - for one it has a full-size rear door. Think Murph is correct in saying its just a butchered rear end with badly fitted vent and vinyl (or rattle can) black roof/panelling.

    Proper J-top

+1 on that. that's not a j-top it looks like someone got creative with vinly and paint, ya can see the standard paj frame underneath. I wouldn't go near it. The other paj mentioned looks straight enough but no mention of a cert

Okeley dokeley. Had doubts about that one anyway, back of it looks like a d.i.y. job alright, and the wheels are sh1te. Cheers for the feedback guys.

Plenty of decent ones on DoneDeal for reasonable money so I'm sure you'll come across one you like soon enough :)

Any decent "Jeep" with 12 months DOE is worth a Grand.

That machine has no DOE - ie suspension/steering etc is unknown

The body has obviously been modified for a specific purpose - I'd hazard a guess and suggest hunting dogs.

Would avoid like the last rounds IMHO.

Give a look around it by someone in the know, probably worth E4/500. any more than that and I'd walk away.

This might be a bargain (I don't know the seller)

Fresh tax & test, service history, €900!

Somehow I doubt it'll be for sale for long.

its under priced by a grand?? must be something wrong with it. although i am jumping to conclusions there,

the original red one the op posted is down to a grand now.

Don't worry - I jumped to the same conclusion initially too :D

Tis always possible that the owner is genuinely emmigrating so by setting the price well below average it won't be long shifting.

She looks a beauty, but Mike Brewer you warn you about looking at a vehicle in the rain.

It's technically illegal to sell without DOE for road use! So watch that!

Price? Hard to say, it should go for less, €900 would be my offer but with a DOE!

Saw that alright. Did ya also notice it's a different seller? Location looks the same though, it's even got the little terrier sniffing round it.
The f#ckin immaculate Paj in Galway for 900,- , well...
I saw that last night, around 23:30 and it had been on about 20 minutes, so I thought probably too late to ring, I'll ring first thing in the morning.. Big mistake. Said 'oh sorry that sold late last night'. :(
I would've offered more just to secure it. Ya live, ya learn.

Too right, it wasn't. Great pic ain't it?
I may print and frame it. To remind me to be quicker of the mark.

I made that mistake before - saw an fresh advert around 10pm on a Friday evening, thought it too late to ring so rang at 10am next morning ... already had 3 people lined up to view it and second person bought it.

T'was for the best in the end though, as I later discovered that it had a bit of a hidden history when it popped up again 9 days later, for €1000 more and with a different seller
