i'm thinking of selling my thorn sherpa touring frame size 51cm/ with hand made wheels.
the frame would come with .
    seatpost,
    bottom bracket,
    headset,
    probable sks mudguards.
    all in 100% perfect nick.
the wheels are sun rhyno rims 599 on
    shimano xt hubs m770.
36 spokes. hand made by sjs cycles.
i just want to know is anyone interested, i'm thinking of buying another bike but cant until this one is sold .
so anyone interested in this sale both bike and wheels are a fantac touring set up you could tour the planet on this bike.;)

Hi, yeah I'd be interested in the frame I must say, plus probably other bits and pieces. I've had a good look at the the Thorn sizing in the past but I've never quite figured it out. What's the Thorn size on the frame, long/short etc?

    Cheers

Too small for me, pity that is. Out of interest are you replacing this with another tourer? I'm looking for one, but I reckon I'll go with 700c wheels.

yes i'm going for another tourer more for credit card touring,
i bought the thorn two years ago for a planned tour of the Himalayas but the tour never came off .pity it's two small for you it's a class bike would suit someone who is planning a tour on and off road .it's as solid as a rock when loaded up with panniers front and back .
and as comfortable as they come great buy for the serious tourer.and at a great price.

I'm not entirely sure about going for 26"s anyway, so maybe it's for the best, I should have my frame by the end of next week actually, either a bob jackson world traveller or a surly lht, jackson's a nicer bike but a bit pricey even second hand.
