fridgefreezer...insurance query

freezer of 7 yr old ff stopped working on over xmas. insurance company want us to get a statement as to how the freezer problem was caused form a sparky:(. how the hell do i do that to satisfy the insurance to pay up and pay for the food inside that was wasted?

Appliance repair engineer will do it -you will have to pay but what they will do is identify the part or cause of failure -they want a report off someone qualified

Was the appliance outside the house as in an outbuilding or garage or shed ?

no in the utility room. what 'wording' needs to be stated in making the claim successfully... i know nothing about freezers
