Where can I find a list of homes available to rent for weekends??
Looking to rent a few houses together for a weekend in april. Location isn't too important. Not more than 3 hours from Tralee, plus near a small town/village with lots of pubs.
Any website suggestions???

I'd advise you to ensure there is some sort of taxi service available for a reasonable price, as walking staggering home on an unlit road in the pitch darkness after the pub shuts is nearly suicidal.

A short drive from Tralee via the Killimer Tarbert ferry.

Several holiday villages in a town with 12 pubs. All willing to take weekend bookings.

Thats exactly the kind of information I'm looking for.
There are so many houses that would be availible for weekend rentals but they are only listed on the web under their company name rather than with bord failté or self-catering.ie, so I'm finding it hard to get information!

Hi, am new to this so not sure if this is the right place for a question - am looking for a house that can accomodate approx 14 people - 7 bedrooms - for a week-end in June. Any of the links I've tried, including ones suggested in previous post, only accomodate up to 10 people. Any ideas? thanks:)

stayed here last summer. Its just outside Kinsale town and walkable to Bulman Pub. There are three holiday homes that open up to the original farm yard. Beautiful location and owners are two of the soundest and nicest people you will ever meet. They rent by the night so a weekend rental is possible.

Ok, Kilkee has been ruled out by some of the party.
Has anyone ever rented for the weekend for a large group in west cork, Lahinch or Ennis??
There are tons of places I could think of in Kerry, but when you don't know an area its so much harder!!

try this house. http://www.donoureast.com/. It is near Galley Head which is about 5 miles outside Clonakilty and 1-2 minute walk from an epic rural pub, Donovans (http://www.fisherscross.com). It is also walkable to two beaches (Red Stand and Long Strand)

We stayed here in 2009 and the house and location are stunning.
