Took a few shots around campus during a particularly foggy day. I'll be the first to say that I don't know what I'm really doing...I was looking to capture an atmospheric/monolithic sense of the building when caught sharply against the foggy sky. The more simple, 'empty' images seem to always catch my eye. Wondering if any of you think it has any merit, or do I think it's worth something just because I played around with it in PS.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I think you need more detail. Its very dark and.. How do I say it? I think it would have been better for you to capture just the building on the left or just the walkway on the right. I dont think the mix works in this instance.

I'm afraid it doesn't do much for me neither. Firstly, the light on top distract me and like dazftw said, the building is just too black. I wouldn't have know it was foggy, other than you said so, as it more seems to be a case of blown-out highlights in the background.

I can see what you were trying to achieve though - definitely worth another go, with those lines and structures, on an eerie, foggy evening... A different frame could perhaps work better, and/or alternative editing of the B&W.
