HI, I wear an Essix retainer at night. I have to get a new one every 6-8 months however because they break... Can anyone tell me is this normal and I am also looking to contact the company that makes these in Dublin but cant find the name anywhere... Any ideas?

essix retainers are very thin so they are easier to wear. you may be grinding your teeth at night and that is why they are breaking. it may be possible to have fixed retainers placed but you would have to see your dentist or orthodontist.
