Put a fine needle down the jets. Chances are that's where the blockage is.

Is there anything coming through at all? Are you sure you don't have a leak? Have you tried clearing the nozzles with a pin?

You could try opening the tubes going to the nozzles and see if the (concoction) might squirt out then. If it does, nozzles are probably blocked.
Then if you could use something like a rubber washer over the nozzle( to seal it) and use compressed air to blow out the nozzles through the pinhole with a garage air pump... Sorry this is the best i could come up with. I'll watch some old episodes of the A-Team and see if I get any ideas.

Seperately.. Does anyone know if windscreen washer fluid has antifreeze properties or not?

The regular stuff doesn't, in order to reduce the freezing point it needs to contain a significant proportion of something like alcohol. The coolant (not the same I know) in my VW Golf needs to be 40% additive in order to cover the engine down to -25 C.

I buy the official VAG washer concentrate cause it's pretty good and at 5 euros a bottle I can make up 25 litres but the mix that goes into the tank is only 1 part concentrate to 99 parts water so would have no antifreeze properties whatsoever.

You'd probably need to buy an alcohol-based cleaner and use it neat or lightly diluted in order to stop it freezing.

I hope you didn't use coolant anti-freeze? If you did, you need to drain it pronto!
