    Old news, will be great for tablets until future changes allow them to access the market without the need to have a cellular radio, otherwise I don't see the point.

    It says it will most likely be US only at launch, so we'll have to wait much longer before it arrives

    Might be worth a look if it was properly managed. There's a hell of a lot of great apps on the Android market but if you don't know what you're looking for there's a hell of a lot of crap too. If this helped filter the crap out it might be good. The trouble is that probably a lot of developers may not sign up to it so you still have to use two markets.
    That's nothing to do with Android fragmentation though.

    Anybody reading the Android forum on Boards is probably smart enough to use web resources or apps like Appbrain but the general user doesn't have a clue, which isn't their fault.
