Noise when turning right in the car

when I'm driving at higher speeds (70km/h+) and I move the steering wheel to the right there's a noise that comes from the front of the car, and a slight vibration (not enough to shake the car, but much like the humming of the engine). When I turn the wheel to the left, this doesn't happen at all and if anything, is very quiet.

I had a bunch of work done on the front left (replace track control arms and tie rods due to an incident during the snow) of the car a week or two ago, and it only started since then.

I read on other forums that this maybe the wheel bearing is gone or not adjusted. Might this be correct or are there other possibilities?

It could be the bearing alright. Jack up front of the vehicle grab each side of the tyre and check for play on it. Check each axis by rocking the wheel in each direction.

Gonna drop it back to the garage in the morning to the fella's who did the work last week, get them to have a look at it for me(dont have access to a jack this evening.)

Is it dangerous to be driving when the bearing is gone??

Same thing happen to me about a month ago. It wrecked my head and I'm a fitter. Turns out one half of the bearing was fxxked and other half perfect.
Its most likely the wheel bearing in my opinion.

It might be safe in the mean time to drive on it. I wouldn't leave it go for weeks though.

Just as an FYI, turned out to be the bearing alright, it got worse as the days went by. It gave off a loud groaning noise when turning right, which meant the left bearing was on the way out.
