Infracted and Banned for the same post?

Hey All, Theadydal posted in PI to stop the outrage and keep replies on topic. I then quoted it and said "Awwwwwww" underneath. It appears PI doesn't have a sense of humour. I received an infraction for it, fair enough. But then I received a 7 day ban for it too. WTF??? How can I be infracted and banned for the same post?…

Hey All,

The were both sent at 15.13.

Any clarification would be appreciated.

You can be banned and infracted for the same post. Up to the moderator in question to decide whether it warrants both or one.
