English Short Story

    Hi Guys:)

I am not great at writing short stories, but I would like to learn one off for the LC. I came across a fellow leaving cert student who entered her short story for a competition on a website and won, and I would like to learnt that story off, making subtle changes myself. Would it be safe to learn this story? If an examiner came across the same story on the net would I be marked down?

    Thanks!:)

That would be known as plagiarism, not only is it wrong, but the examiner would notice the style of writing changing, google a few lines and you'll lose all your marks.

    Thank you for your reply!:)

What if I just copied the storyline, but used my own vocab?

I wouldn't copy the whole thing anyway as I'd feel uneasy!!
