    Hello all,

Im looking for a steel wheel for my pug 407 16''. I have tried 2 scrap yards so far and no joy. Pug dealer wants 170 euro for one:eek:
Nct is due soon so I need to get my spare sorted asap.

Are there any other manufacturers wheels that will fit my pug 407

    Thanks
    Rich

Sorry, i'd assumed all modern Peugeot wheels were the same! Have a look through www.adverts.ie, www.donedeal.ie, Peugeot owners clubs, etc. Don't dismiss alloy wheels either, they mightn't cost much more.

Thats right about the alloy, the dealer told me that there is not much difference in the price. The thing is I just need one wheel. Not a set. If I could find out if 16'' from a Volvo, ford etc etc would fit my pug it will be fine. There is a chance that the nct wont require a spare also.

Ok, I can relax for a bit. Just rang them and She said that it is not a requirement to have a spare wheel.

Just an idea, but you could buy a set of cheap rims, put winter tyres on them and carry one of the set you're not using around as a spare.

I could be corrected here - but I don't think you are obliged to carry a spare wheel. But if it is there and it has a defect, you will be advised (not a fail). AFAIK

I rang the NCT crowd today and was informed that its not a requirement to carry a spare wheel.
