New Laptop

Hi Guys

Firstly I am sorry for putting up another thread on what kind of laptop to buy.

I am totally stuck and really appreciate some advice. I am looking for a laptop that would be the size of a netbook but not a netbook if you know what I mean.

All suggestions would be welcomed.

that is so vague. you have to be clearer on what you want exactly (Gaming, Videos or surfing) and the price (lots to spend or I have to sell my left kidney)

Piece of advise don't go near dell if you don't like loud fans.

The Netbook was brought in with the launched Atom (yes, it existed before the atom but with under powered chip)

Asus 1215N euro 480ish (and it is roughly that is the states) 12.1", 2Gb D525 (dual core 1.8ghz) ION 2 will support most games on the market at low level-mid. Which of course they need some varied settings GFX to get it optimal, but it isn't hard.

if you want a little power, but no GFX or HD, try Asus 1015PEM.

Apologies for being so vague.

I want it for surfing, e-mails, uploading pictures & videos, nothing like gaming or any kind of work related stuff. I was advised against the netbook as there is not enough memory for uploading and sending pic/videos. I would also want to have microsoft on it aswell.

Would be willing to spend roughly €400 - €500. I am just really bad trying to decide what is best and hate going into the shops cause they try and sell you anything.
