This may not be the correct forum but I need to get 4 items collected in LL18 5TY just off the A55 en route to Holyhead.

They are 2 rugs and 2 bits of underlay - not very heavy - dimensions are:

    5.48 x 3.66m + same size underlay
    4.20 x 3.05m + same size underlay.

Obviously the rugs will be rolled up tight.

If anyone has any advice on a company to use perhaps as a part return load etc.

I'd collect them at Dublin Port or get them delivered to Co. Louth.

    Thanks

These guys: http://www.halesfreight.com/ seem to be advertising like mad at the moment. Might be worth speaking to them.

There is a user here, I think his name is Rudolph. He is in the shipping business, it might be worth while dropping him a PM.

    Thanks Lads.

I got it sorted. Using a company I use all the time Surefreight.

They go from Cardiff to their main depot in Newry all the time and after a long time I cottoned (thanks to the chap in Hale Freight) on that the UK company offered free delivery in the UK which meant no one had to actually go and collect it.

Not sure of the charge yet but Hales would have been €250 + the VAT if delivered to their Widnes Depot.

The UK company was looking to charge £5-600 for delivery!

Hoping to have them delivered for the cost of a pallet or thereabouts.

Thanks again lads for the suggestions as it definitely sorted the problem!
