Renault Clio Air bag light

    First Sorry mod's if i have this in the wrong place move it to where it belong's

    I have a renault clio 1.2, 01 and the passenger airbag light come on when i'm driving.

    Sometimes when i go over a ramp it turn's off.
    Has anyone had, or heard off this problem before and could you help

    For passenger side airbags there should be sensor that determines if passenger is travelling - not sure if renault works this way, but most makers do( maybe the sensor under the passenger seat needs attention)
    Btw... do you have separate warning lights for passenger/driver airbags. I drive 2000 scenic at this moment, and there is just one light that comes on/off at start....

    Yeah only one light. When i start the engin the light come's on then off then back on and stay's on untill i turn off the engin

    I see... when you wrote passenger airbag, I assumed it was one of the two...
    The safe option is to go to the dealer, have a check through the computer, and see what it says. Afaik, Renault needs to be checked by them, as none of the cheaper connections works for them (unlike VAG for example). Still, wor5th to have a look under the seats, maybe just the wires... otherwise expensive job, unless you accept the fact that there is no airbags...
