retiring at 65

    I'm looking at my pension situation. Not working that many years so won't be entitled to a great pension. If I continue until 65, it would obviously help. Looking for info from teachers who have worked to that age. How did they feel? Is it very unusual to work until 65?

    Not unusual, no. That said, I'm not sure I could face 30+ junior infants when I am that age.

    Yes you can. Maybe you're thinking of the deadline for retirement on the pre-cuts wage rather than retiring on the post-cuts wage.
