Windows Streaming Stopped Working??

Ok so I go to stream video from my laptop (Windows 7) to my PS3 and it all of a sudden is not working. I had it set up working perfectly for months, and the PS3 would pick up the Media Server as soon as my laptop was turned on.

But now it is just not working. I have the Media Sharing on my Media Player set to share files and Homegroup/Sharing thing is turned on too.
I recently changed wireless Broadband from Eircom to Vodafone @ home, maybe this has something to do with it.

    Any Ideas??

Make sure upnp is enabled on the router - you will need this.
Also check the network settings on the PS3 to ensure the searching for media servers isn't magically been disabled.

I don't think I had that enabled at all, the upnp. How do you enable it? I don't have the PS3 on right now.

    WIll depend on the router.
But should be on your router settings page somewhere. Best accessed from a PC.

Well, I can't find anything about UPnP on this O2 modem. Checked properties and everything. Don't know where to access it from.

I checked my router settings and the UPnP is ON.
But on the PS3, the UPnP is set to "Not Available"

Also, pn the PS3, the Proxy Server is set to "Do Not Use". Would this have anything to do with it??

    no,
you didnt do the pppoe trick to get NAT1 by any chance, if you did, this would be the reason ??

I actually did do that. So if i put it back to NAT type 3 it will work again?
But will this affect my online gaming?

    yep and yep...

NAT1 means your PS3 can't connect to your internal network..
You need NAT2 or NAT3 to get it to connect.
