does anyone know how to open the doors on a stilo when the battery has gone flat. over the last 3 weeks the battery died and now i cannot open the car at all. i did hear it has a safety feature which stops the doors opening when the battery dies to stop you stealing it. is there any way to override this and get the doors or bonnet open.

    Touché

Would you not be able to unlock it if there was a charge going to the battery?

edit: And now I've just realised you couldn't open the bonnet.

    Jesus, what a shít design!!

You can just turn the key in the door, the door will unlock.

It's how the spare key with no button works!

Had to do it a few weeks ago when the battery in my Stilo was flat.

You've tried using the keyhole on the drivers door right?

tried the door it just turns left and right and wont open. boot is the same and bonnet wont open at all. so all the locks couldnt be gone.
has to be some way of over riding the system to either get the door or bonnet open to jump start

Have you successfully opened the boot or doors manually before with your key?

The mother has one of these. You can open the door with the spare key. Happened during the cold phase recently.
