    Hi All

    Just a quick query about buying from UK websites. I understand VAT is included in the website's price. Am I right in assuming that we are liable for Customs charges in Ireland. Some of the prices on this website for example are about 40% cheaper than buying in shops in Ireland ?

    If the item ships from the UK, you are not liable for any extra charges.

    IF being the word. Always check it out, e.g. hmv.co.uk ship from jersey so you are liable.
