I applied as a mature student to nursing and there was a section that says :

Please remember, you must post all supporting documents to arrive at CAO
within 7 days of submitting an online application (if not already done so).
Certified copies of results of 2011 examinations (excluding Leaving Cert &
FETAC) must be provided to CAO as soon as they become available.

WHAT supporting documents? Do i have to send something in ?

Okay, what universities have you applied to?

Have you checked each university/college and gone through what documentation is required of them?

I know the application process can be different for nursing but most universities/colleges request some or all of the following for mature application:
    • copies of your Junior/Leaving cert. results
    • copies of any post secondary school courses you have completed -PLC, FETAC
    • Copies of 3rd level results/certificates
    • personal statement
    • CV
    • letters of recommendation

Edit: I found this on page 12 of the CAO HANDBOOK:

    Note:
Mature applicants applying for Graduate Medicine
and/or mature code Nursing/Midwifery courses only
do not need to supply the information outlined in the
opposite column. subjects, levels and any results to date
    .

So you probably don't need to worry about any additional documents. :)

you still have to send off a certified copy of your degree, leaving cert, birth cert, results of your degree courses, stamped by a garda even if you are applying as a mature student to nursing??
