Seeing a few EI's spotted on the cluster on 10m but none worked so far, band is picking up with a surge in the solar flux to 92, some nice sunspot regions on the Sun, hope it continues, winter ES not as evident this year, Z21ANB/B readable most days, FR1GZ/b very strong when running on 28.215, have heard WA2NTK/b on 28.204 a few times, I monitor the beacons extensively and keep an eye on Martin, G3USF'S beacon page updating my own text file from his

If you notice any new beacons or errors Martin is only too delighted to be informed

Discovered this interesting list by W5JO yesterday

Hi Charles. I can see you are very active on 10m cluster. Very good. You are doing good job there to let us know what is on the air on 28Mhz.
Did you contact VK or ZL last few days with your new 4 ele Yagi ?

Happy new year mordka, not too late to say that yet, you mentioned the mast, picked it up in a builders yard good few years back, they used it to support a bay of halogen lights, cost me the princely sum on 100 punts at the time, do you have the skypper yourself and and are you qrv, if so can I have ur callsign

This is some of what ive worked so far, to be updated

I heard 11m open to the states on Monday afternoon and I spent 30mins calling cq on 10m Cw but never got any takers.

guess all the prop is down in the Tropics. :D

Some pretty dedicated ops on 27mhz all right, did you hear cw beacons on ten, I find these invaluable, just wondering what you use on 10m?

No need be in a hurry putting the rig in the car experimenter, sunspot activity had almost fizzled out, wonder if are back in the doldrums again, not much worked here since the 9th

Just using a Hexbeam with the Pro 2 on 10m so lots of room for improvment, I might put up a 3el for 10m for the summer when I take the Hex down to put up the 6&4m antennas.

I had a 3el Siro that I never took out of the box I should have kept it.

Do u have a call pixbyjohn? wondering who u are

Cant make the 5th much as id like to due to photorally event near Athlone, ah well.....hearing some signals on 28mhz today, must be the worst state the band has been in a long time, no real signs of a pickup in cycle 24

Current prediction for the next sunspot cycle maximum gives a smoothed sunspot number maximum of about 59 in June/July of 2013. We are currently two years into Cycle 24 and the predicted size continues to fall.

    Makes grim reading

I really need to get my ass in gear, have an old 11m 5/8 wave vertical and all the mountings, should put it up for 10m and get DXing.

The church radios across Ireland using 27MHz frequencies must have been heard far and wide in recent times!

And a few on Youtube of reception in other countries such as:
