Wiper Linkage for Mitsubishi lancer?

    The drivers side wiper broke during the cold snap,i reckon its the Linkage for the wiper.
    I was quoted 245 supplied and fitted from a garage..is this the going rate or can i do it on the cheap? ;)

    How do i check that?
    The drivers' wiper is broken,the passenger side is fine.

    It's the linkage then, it may just click back in, best to take the wipers and scuttle panel off and see how it looks, if you click it back together and its loose then you need to replace.

    I've had a lot of em where it was just the bolt that holds the wiper to the linkage this cold snap so defiantly worth a check. see is the bolt tight at the bottom of the wiper arm. As surprising as it sounds it happeneds a lot.

    And thats actually what it turned out to be..the nut on the bolt was loose so i tightened it up and its working fine!
