Should I keep away from coffee?

Hello. I like coffee but I rarely drink it, having it maybe twice a year. The reason for this is that I'm cautious about allowing myself to become addicted to/ dependant on it. So, am I well advised to stay away from it to avoid having to eventually withdraw from it when I get to love it too much? It isn't exactly good for you is it?
    thanks

Millions of people drink coffee each day. Whether or not it is harmful to them or addictive is not for the posters on boards.ie to say as that would be akin to providing medical advice (a big no-no on this site).

If you are that concerned about it - speak with a medical professional.
