PS Elements 6.0 issue...

    Hiya lads,

Have been happily using Elements 6.0 to open RAW files (CR2s) and play around with basic post-processing. This all worked fine on my 350D, but I've just bought a shiny new 60D to play with. Now, I can't preview CR2 thumbnails within a folder - not too surprised at this given that I was using a Windows Powertoy extension to do this previously.

What is a problem is that I can't open these files in Elements 6.0. I've replaced the existing Camera Raw plug-in with Camera Raw 5.6, which seems to be the most recent update possible for Elements 6.0. However, I still get an error message when trying to open RAW files from the 60D.

Annoyed as I am Adobe and at the lack of a general RAW standard, I'm willing to concede that Elements 6.0 is probably a bit obsolete in the grander scheme of things. I'd like to know what options I have beyond buying Elements 9.0? Is there any way that I can check what version of Camera Raw the 60D CR2s will function with?

Any help here would be great guys. I'm not hugely adept at the post-processing lark but am a bit of a loss now without my trusty elements!
