Bridging to connect ps3 to laptop?

I done this before and it worked for the xbox 360 but cant get it to work now.. have the ethernet cable in ps and laptop, but cant seem to "create a bridge" n get connected.. it says add to bridge when i right click on local area connection alrite, but ders still a red x beside it and beside network bridge? wreckin the…

You have an ethernet cable running from the PS3 to the laptop???

I have no idea if this will work, but assuming it does, surely you would need a twisted ethernet cable?
