    Hi All,

Has anyone got any suggestions for a good hotel in Berlin for a couple of days in Feb? Budget approx €150 per night.
Tried Tripadvisor but was just wondering if somebody has anywhere in mind?

    Thanks

Well, I was there with 2 male friends so it was not a romantic weekend ! :pac:

We stayed at the Westin Grand Hotel in Berlin for 4 days and it is within your price range ... really nice hotel and right on the main street. You can walk to most things without getting a taxi. Very central.

The funny thing was after a day I thought I recognised the hotel - even though I never stayed there before. It was the hotel used to film parts of the Jason Bourne movie 'The Bourne Supremacy'.

I stayed in the Park Inn on Alexanderplatz and it was great value and very nice and clean - not too romantic but it's very handily located as you've great public transport options beside you.

Also the 100 Bus starts from near there and is a great way to see most of the sites for free - it's like an unofficial tour bus as it goes past the Reichstag, up Unter den Linden, past the Museums and the Brandenburg Gate. You can use your day pass on it too.

I stayed in the circus hotel and couldn't recommend it enough, it's in a great location and is small and the rooms are nice and modern!

    Dear Loadedscream,

After reading your post I checked tripadvisor and everyone loves this hotel.
Can I ask you what was the difference between the two breakfasts?
Did you stay in a double room and was it big enough?
I am worried about small rooms as I don't want to feel hemmed in.
I'd nearly go for their mini-suite if the double is cramped, given their prices. I hope you see this post and reply.
    Thanks
