Looking for good finance deals for buying a car - new or nearly new. Is anyone offering 0% finance out there?

I'd say it's unlikely in this climate. The days of cheap credit are gone. It would cost a manufacturer an arm and a leg to get that.

Cheap credit was never cheap, the interest was simply hidden in the purchase price. 0% finance is generally the most expensive way to buy a car.

0% finance is a scam. It is generally only available against full retail price & usually on cars that you could typically expect maybe a 2k discount.
There is no such thing as free finance. The banks are getting interest, you can be sure of that.

No scam if the fianance is agreed with manufacturer .
In Italy for example you can get finance with 0 deposit and 60 months interest free.
Fiat are offering this for certain models but during the year you can get this deal for almost all models

I will put my name down for a Ferrari with 0 deposit and 0% interest :)

Its a sales scam by the manufacturers. Say the car is 20k retail. They will sell you the car for 20k with 0% interest. The point im making is, you could walk in with cash & have the car for maybe 18k or 17.5k or whatever which is the real cost of the car so you are in effect paying 2 to 2.5k 'interest'

The point is that the cost of the finance is included in the price of the car. It's not free, it's just (badly) hidden.
